ଭୁବନେଶ୍ୱର, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ସଫଳ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ପଛରେ ବଡ଼ ସଂଘର୍ଷ ଲୁଚି ରହିଛି। ଯାହା ବାହାରକୁ ସହଜରେ ଦେଖା ଯାଏ ନାହିଁ। ସଫଳ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗପତି ଦୀପ୍ତିରଂଜନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ପଛରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ବଡ଼ ସଂଘର୍ଷ ଭରା କାହାଣୀ ଲୁଚି ରହିଛି। ତାଙ୍କର ନିରନ୍ତର ସଂଘର୍ଷ, କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ ନିଷ୍ଠା, ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତିବଦ୍ଧତା ଆଜି ତାଙ୍କୁ ସଫଳତାର ଶିଖରରେ ପହଞ୍ଚାଇଛି। ବିବାହ ପରେ ତାଙ୍କ ସଂଘର୍ଷର ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣଚ୍ଛେଦ ପଡ଼ିଥିଲା। ସେ ଜୀବନରେ ଅନେକ ଠକାମିର ଶିକାର ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ହେଲେ ନିଜେ କେବେ କାହାକୁ ଠକିବାକୁ ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରିନାହାନ୍ତି। ତାଙ୍କରି ତ୍ୟାଗ ପାଇଁ କିଟ୍ ଓ କିସ୍ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ହୋଇ ପାରିଛି। ତାଙ୍କ ଭଳି ଜଣେ ଦରଦୀ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗପତିଙ୍କ ଜୀବନୀ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରେରଣାଦାୟୀ ହେବ। ଆଜି ହୋଟେଲ୍ ମେଫେୟାର କନ୍ଭେନସନ୍ରେ ତ୍ରିବେଣୀ ଆର୍ଥମୁଭର୍ସ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଉଦ୍ୟୋଗପତି ଦୀପ୍ତିରଂଜନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କ ଜୀବନୀ ‘ଡିଅର୍ ଡି.ଆର୍.-ଝରଣାରୁ ନଦୀ ହେବାର କାହାଣୀ’ ପୁସ୍ତକ ଉନ୍ମୋଚନ ଉତ୍ସବରେ ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ଏହା କହିଛନ୍ତି ‘କିଟ୍ ଓ କିସ୍’ର ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠାତା ତଥା ପୂର୍ବତନ ସାଂସଦ ଡ. ଅଚ୍ୟୁତ ସାମନ୍ତ।
ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲେଖକ ଦାଶ ବେନହୁରଙ୍କ ସଭାପତିତ୍ବରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏହି ବର୍ଣ୍ଣାଢ୍ୟ ଉତ୍ସବରେ ସମ୍ମାନିତ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ବିଶ୍ବବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର କୁଳପତି ପ୍ରଫେସର ସବିତା ପ୍ରଧାନ ଯୋଗଦେଇ କହିଲେ, ଡିଆର୍ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ଜଣେ ଆଦର୍ଶ ପୁରୁଷ ଓ ପ୍ରତିଶ୍ରୁତିକୁ ପାଳନ କରୁଥିବା ଭଲ ମଣିଷ। ମୂଲ୍ୟବୋଧ ଜୀବନ ବଞ୍ଚିବାକୁ ଚାହୁଁଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ପ୍ରତାରଣାର ଶିକାର ହୁଏ। ସେ ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତାରଣାର ଶିକାର ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି। ହେଲେ କ୍ଷମାଶୀଳ ହୋଇ ଆଗକୁ ଆଗକୁ ବଢ଼ି ଚାଲିଛନ୍ତି। ତାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନୀକୁ ଲେଖିଥିବା ଡ. ସଞ୍ଜୟ ହାତୀ ନିରପେକ୍ଷ ଭାବେ ଜୀବନୀକୁ ଅନୁଶୀଳନ କରିଛନ୍ତି।
ପ୍ରିୟ ଅତିଥି ଭାବେ ବିପିୟୁଟିର ପୂର୍ବତନ କୁଳପତି ଓଁକାରନାଥ ମହାନ୍ତି ଯୋଗଦେଇ କହିଲେ, ରାଉରକେଲା ବିକାଶରେ ଡିଆର୍ଙ୍କ ବଡ଼ ଭୂମିକା ରହିଛି। ଡିଆର୍ଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଧନୁ ସଦୃଶ୍ୟ। ସେ ଅସଂଖ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କୁ ସହଯୋଗର ହାତ ବଢ଼ାଇଛନ୍ତି। ତାଙ୍କ ଜୀବନୀ ଜନସମାଜକୁ ଦିଗଦର୍ଶନ ଦେବ। ଆତ୍ମଜୀବନୀର ଲେଖକ ଡ. ସଞ୍ଜୟ ହାତୀ ଲେଖକୀୟ ଅଭିବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ପ୍ରଦାନ କରି କହିଲେ, ପ୍ରିୟର ଡିଆର୍ଙ୍କୁ ବୁଝିବା ଥିଲା ମୋ ପାଇଁ ବଡ଼ କଥା। ଜଣେ ସଫଳ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିଙ୍କ ପଛରେ ଏତେ ଯେ ଦରଦୀ କାହାଣୀ ଲୁଚି ରହିଥାଏ ତାହା ଜାଣି ସ୍ତମ୍ଭୀଭୂତ ହୋଇଥିଲି। କେବଳ ଏତିକି କୁହାଯାଇ ପାରେ, ତାଙ୍କର କର୍ମପ୍ରବଣତା ତାଙ୍କୁ ଦିଲୁରୁ ଡିଅର୍ ଡିଆର୍ କରିଛି। ଯାହା ଯୁବବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବେଶ୍ ପ୍ରେରଣାଦାୟୀ।
ଶ୍ରୀ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ନିଜ ଅନୁଭୂତିକୁ କହିବା ବେଳେ ଭାବବିହ୍ବଳ ହୋଇ ଯାଇଥିଲେ। ସେ କହିଲେ, ମୁଁ ନିଜକୁ କେବେ ମହାପୁରୁଷ ବୋଲି ଭାନିନି। ଈଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦରୁ ବହୁତ କିଛି ପାଇଛି। ଯେଉଁ ଋଣ କେବେ ସୁଝି ପାରିବିନି। ସମାଜ ପାଇଁ ଆଉ ଅଧିକ କିଛି କରିପାରିଲେ ଜୀବନ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେବ। ମୋ ଜୀବନ କାଳ ଭିତରେ ଅନେକ ସଂଘର୍ଷ କରିଛି। ଠକାମିର ଶିକାର ହେଇଛି। ମୋର ଠାକୁରଙ୍କ ପାଖରେ ନିବେଦନ, ମୋତେ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଏମିତି ସହାୟ ହୁଅନ୍ତୁ, ମୋତେ କେହି ଠକି ନିଅନ୍ତୁ ପଛେ ମୁଁ କାହାକୁ ଯେମିତି ନ ଠକେ ଏତିକି କୃପା କରନ୍ତୁ। ରାଜେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନାରାୟଣ ଦାସଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେରଣାରେ ମୁଁ ଜୀବନୀ ଲେଖିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ୟ ହୋଇଥିଲି ଏବଂ ଡ. ସଞ୍ଜୟ ହାତୀଙ୍କ ସହଯୋଗରେ ଏହାକୁ ଶେଷ କରିବାକୁ ୩ ବର୍ଷ ଲାଗିଛି ବୋଲି ସେ କହିଥିଲେ।
ସଭାପତିତ୍ବ ଭାଷଣରେ ଦାଶ ବେନହୁର କହିଲେ, ଆତ୍ମଜୀବନୀ ସାମାଜିକ ଇତିହାସର ପୃଷ୍ଠା। ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ସଫଳ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ଡିଆର୍ଙ୍କ ଭଳି ଜୀବନୀ ଲେଖିବା ଦରକାର। ଯାହା ହାରି ଯାଉଥିବା ମଣିଷକୁ ପ୍ରେରଣା ଦେବ। ତ୍ରିବେଣୀ ଆର୍ଥମୁଭର୍ସର ଏମ୍ଡି ବି. ପ୍ରଭାକରନ୍ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ ଦେବା ସହ ଡିଆର୍ଙ୍କ ସହ ୨୬ ବର୍ଷର ବନ୍ଧୁତା ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ଅନେକ ଅଜଣା କଥା କହିଥିଲେ। ଆର୍ଜେ କେପି ଓ ଆର୍ଜି ଗୁଡ଼ି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମକୁ ସଂଯୋଜନା କରିଥିଲେ। କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଆରମ୍ଭରେ କଣ୍ଠଶିଳ୍ପୀ ଗୁରୁ ସଙ୍ଗୀତା ପଣ୍ଡା ‘ଜୀବନ ପାତ୍ର ମୋ ଭରିଛ କେତେ’ ସଙ୍ଗୀତ ଗାନ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏହି ଉତ୍ସବରେ ଲେଖକ ରାଜେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନାରାୟଣ ଦାସଙ୍କ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା ପାଠ କରାଯାଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ଶ୍ରୀ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ପତ୍ନୀ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରାଣୀ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ଜୀବନୀ ପୁସ୍ତକ ଉପହାର ଦେଇଥିଲେ।

He has extended a helping hand to innumerable people. His biography will give direction to the masses. The author of the autobiography, Dr. Sanjay Hati gave a written expression and said, "Understanding Dear D.R. was a big deal for me. I was surprised to know that behind a successful person there is such a sad story. All I can say is that his dedication to work has made him a Dear D.R. from the heart. Which is very inspiring for the youth.Shri Patnaik was emotional while talking about his experience. He said, "I have never considered myself a great person. I have received a lot from the blessings of God. The debts that I can never repay. If I can do more for society, life will be blessed. I have had many struggles in my life. I have been a victim of fraud. I pray to my Lord, may God help me like this, may someone cheat me, may I have mercy on him as much as I cheat anyone. I was forced to write a biography under the inspiration of Rajendra Narayan Das and it took him 3 years to complete it with the help of Dr. Sanjay Hati," he said.
